Austrian Space Days 2026

The Austrian Space Days 2026 are dedicated to a new industrial reality: space is evolving from a research-driven field to a scalable industry with clear design, production and value creation principles. Europe – and Austria in particular – plays a vital role in this evolution.

The motto "Industrialization by Design" describes this change: space systems are designed for scalability, reliability and cost-effectiveness from the start – away from one-off productions and towards industrial products.

International speakers will shed light on the transformation of the space industry towards platform architectures, series production, in orbit manufacturing, and software-defined systems.

The second day of the event – in cooperation with the Austrian Chamber of Commerce – will focus on synergies with the automotive industry, especially in the areas of scaling, quality assurance and platform economy.

The Austrian Space Days are hosted by accent Inkubator and Brimatech, in cooperation with ESA, the Federal Ministry Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure Republic of Austria (BMIMI), the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), the Austrian Economic Chambers (WKÖ), and the province of Lower Austria.
