Field trip: the story of qtlabs

Satellite-based quantum communication & experience on working in classified projects  

At this field trip/workshop we want to provide to address four main topics: 

  • We want to give a general introduction to satellite-based quantum communication. Here we will explain the basic ideas and show the overall working principles alongside with some of the underlying technologies  

  • We will give an overview of qtlabs’ activities and products, highlighting the successful transformation and exploitation of academic results into products and services. 

  • Share our experience in handling classified projects. We will provide some general information about working on classified projects, required processes and certifications, and how the day-to-day work is affected by classification. 

  • We want to provide the possibility to network and connect.
