FANTANA is developing “WideEye”, an innovative Earth observation technology that enables scalable motion-compensated imaging for next-generation satellite constellations.
The project aims to overcome the limitations of current small Earth observation systems by combining wide-area coverage, high image quality, and multi-sensor support in a compact solution. An advanced two-axis motion compensation system enables precise sensor stabilization and enhanced imaging performance.
By delivering a cost-efficient, high-performance, and fully European solution, WideEye supports faster deployment of Earth observation constellations while improving image quality, operational flexibility, and supply chain resilience.
