qtlabs, based in Vienna, Austria, specializes in optical and quantum space communication.

In this project qtlabs will develop a TRL-6 post-processing product for quantum key distribution (QKD) in space. The focus lies on the commercialization of IP cores for FPGAs specifically designed for satellite-based QKD post-processing.

The commercialization of our product includes market research, product requirements refinements, business model development, IPR protection strategies, product design, testing and validation that follow the ECSS-Q-ST-60-02C standards for space product assurance, ensuring high security and reliability.
